MPSJ to build community hall and access road in Taman Puchong Utama
Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) will undertake the construction of a community hall in Taman Puchong Utama, Puchong and an access road to SK Taman Desaminium, costing RM2.5mil and RM1.2mil respectively, to serve the needs of residents.
The hall on a 0.6ha site in Jalan Puchong Utama 7 will include paving the area and putting up fencing.
The community hall will offer residents facilities such as a stage, three badminton/sepak takraw courts, one volleyball court, changing rooms and toilets for men and women as well as parking space for vehicles and motorcycles.
The hall is to enable community activities to be carried out and to foster closer ties among the multi-racial community.
Meanwhile, work on the access road to the school in Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan will begin soon and is expected to be completed by July.
The project will include a drain and street lighting and is a relief for the pupils, parents and teachers, as the school presently has no proper road to its premises.
The pupils currently use an unpaved and dusty road to get to school.
