Despite this controversial, it still a good news.
it is logic base on locations to be acquired and current construction cost. who am i? i'm engineer in this kind of field. why malaysian always thinking politic this and that?
You cannot blame the mindset of Malaysian towards their government because there are too many white elephant projects involving their cronies.
its not about land acquisition, it's about awarding the project to the UMNO's lawyer, who turned out to be one of their regular cronies. Please follow the news before slamming.
i am surprise to see someone who are capable of using computer and has access to internet do not know why it was called "politically controversial"

The lawyer was the main guy that helped BN overthrew the Perak PR Government in 2009 constitutional crisis. There is no wonder he is rewarded back now with billions worth of projects (not to mention many other smaller projects prior to this).

Authority to abolish highway toll does not lie on the hand of state government. You must understand the situation 1st before making comments.
Not citizens themselves try to link everything to politics, is the government itself provides such a perception. If it is not politically driven, can you explain how the company can get the contract?
